Job summary

Northern Nevada Medical Center in Sparks, NV seeks a Float Pool Registered Nurse to provide direct and indirect patient care across units. Must be willing to float to all units and communicate changes in patient condition with physicians. Requires NV nursing license and BLS/ACLS; PALS within six months.

• At least two years of critical care experience in the ED, ICU, or PACU.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care with compassion and respect.
• Communicate with physicians about changes in patient condition.
• Float to all units as needed.
• Perform head‑to‑toe assessments and reassess per policy.
• Use triage process to ensure timely care.
• Identify dysrhythmias and respond per ACLS protocols.
