The Buncher Company in Pittsburgh is seeking a skilled Carpenter for the in-house construction team. The role covers framing, drywall, finishing, and site layout, with emphasis on safety and precision.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a carpenter; strong portfolio of work.
• 3–5 years of professional carpentry preferred.
• Proficiency with a wide range of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and plans.
• Physical ability to perform duties, including lifting up to 75 lbs and heights.
• Masonry skills helpful but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Construct and repair building frameworks and doorframes to exact measurements.
• Install drywall, acoustic ceilings, and various floor finishes.
• Perform site layout and elevation work using a transit and level.
• Form and pour concrete for foundations and structures.
• Install and maintain door frames, doors, and hardware.
• Hang, finish, and repair drywall and related finishes.
• Install steel beams, lintels, and reinforcing materials.
• Conduct surface prep and painting as needed.
