Job summary

The Buncher Company is seeking a dependable Construction Laborer in Pittsburgh, PA, for site prep, loading materials, and assisting trades. You will work with a team to support various tasks on a construction site and carry out assigned duties with safety in mind.

Ideal candidates have some construction experience, physical stamina, and the ability to follow directions. A valid driver's license and willingness to travel between sites are required.

Qualifications

• One year of labor experience related to construction is required.
• This work requires physical agility, solid hand-eye coordination, and a good sense of balance.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Driver's license and the ability to travel between work sites are required.
• Must be able to perform basic arithmetic to complete job tasks.
• Must be able to use measuring devices such as tapes and gauges.
• Knowledge of basic engineering and construction laborer methods is preferred, but training will be provided.
• Some experience using construction equipment, forklift, hand tools, and power tools is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be available to help onsite tradespeople and heavy equipment workers as needed.
• Load, unload and prepare tools or materials for the crew.
• Clear debris and maintain a clean work site after construction.
• Support team through all stages of projects to ensure efficiency.
• Dispose of debris and hazardous materials to prepare sites for construction.
