Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance, residential maintenance, hotel maintenance, or property management maintenance experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general repair work.
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage priorities and stay organized throughout the day.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to provide your own hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Responding to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely manner.
• Diagnosing and repairing plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and general maintenance issues.
• Troubleshooting problems and determining the best repair solutions.
• Turning apartment homes quickly and efficiently for new residents.
• Assisting with preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintaining the overall appearance and curb appeal of the property.
• Communicating professionally with residents regarding maintenance updates.
• Working with vendors and team members to complete projects.
• Using a tablet or mobile device to manage work orders and document completed work.
• Helping ensure supplies and materials are available when needed.
