Harkins Theatres in Buckeye, AZ is seeking a part-time server to provide table service for theatre dining experiences. You will greet guests, take orders, deliver meals, and process payments with a focus on accuracy and guest satisfaction.

The role requires 19+ years, food handler certification, and availability for nights, weekends, and holidays. Prior high-volume restaurant experience is preferred, along with strong communication and POS skills.

• Capable of standing for extended periods in a fast-paced, loud environment.

The server's primary responsibility is to provide an elevated guest experience by accurately describing all menu items, including preparation methods and potential allergens; taking orders; delivering orders; and collecting payment. The server is an integral part of the success of the Theatre/BackLot by contributing to sales, daily jobs, and overall guest satisfaction.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Greet guests and make them feel comfortable by establishing a personal connection.
• Communicate promptly, courteously, and effectively with all guests, management, and fellow team members.
• Be knowledgeable about the Theatre/BackLot brand and items sold to be able to answer questions, make recommendations, and upsell.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, including item modifications, and enter them into the POS or handheld device.
• Deliver food and beverage orders to all tables/guests to Harkins' standards, including the patio.
• Provide exemplary service to include refilling beverages and clearing tables/seats, while exceeding guest expectations.
• Accurately collect payment from guests.
• Ensure server stations are set up and stocked for service.
• Understand and follow proper rules of hygiene and food safety.
• Knowledgeable of dietary restrictions to ensure orders are completed accurately for guests.
• Follow all applicable liquor laws, company policies, and safety procedures to Harkins'.
• Remain flexible during shift to ensure smooth and efficient operation of the dining service, as directed.

What We Are Looking For:

• Required to be at least 19 years of age.
• Required to obtain and maintain a current food handler's card and/or food safety certification, and complete Responsible Service Training, (AZ Title 4 Liquor - Basic).
• 1+ year experience in high volume restaurant setting preferred.
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace and possess basic math skills, be fiscally responsible, and operate a point-of-sale system.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, loud environment, with multiple flashing lights, while in a standing position for extended periods of time.
• Capable of remaining calm and using good judgment and discretion in all situations.
