Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel Philadelphia is seeking a Food Runner to deliver meals accurately and promptly from kitchen to guests, while keeping dining areas ready and assisting with guest requests. This position sits within the Restaurant team and reports to the Restaurant Manager or Outlet Manager.

You will collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to maintain presentation standards, stock service stations, and help set up and reset tables. Opportunities for training and growth are available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience preferred.
• Previous food service, restaurant, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to carry and balance food trays safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to accurately read food tickets and coordinate with kitchen and service teams.
• Excellent guest service skills with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Ability to obtain any required local food handling or alcohol service certifications.

Responsibilities

About The Role The Food Runner plays a key role in delivering an exceptional dining experience by ensuring food is delivered accurately, efficiently, and professionally from the kitchen to our guests. This position supports the restaurant service team by maintaining dining room readiness, assisting with guest requests, and helping create a seamless service experience. The Food Runner is part of the Restaurant team and reports to the Restaurant Manager or Outlet Manager.
