Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager for Verifications to lead a growing team responsible for employment, education, drug and health verifications, and right‑to‑work products, in a highly regulated environment.

You’ll drive reliability, scale data quality and automation, and collaborate with Product and Compliance to translate requirements into engineering priorities, while fostering talent and ensuring high‑quality, auditable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading an engineering team in a complex, integration-heavy environment.
• Strong background in service architecture, distributed systems, and system design.
• Proven ability to manage multi-vendor integrations and external dependencies.
• Track record of improving operational metrics and reliability in production.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and responsible adoption.
• Experience in regulated industries with data accuracy and compliance requirements.
• Excellent incident management and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Verifications engineering team and set technical direction.
• Own reliability and quality of broad fulfillment integrations.
• Collaborate with Product to define and execute roadmaps across verification products.
• Drive architectural decisions to improve coverage and automation.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted development while upholding quality standards.
• Represent Verifications in cross-functional planning with Product, Compliance, and Leadership.
