Job summary

LA28 is seeking a Manager, Program Venue Technology to lead project management and reporting across Venue Technology Services for the Los Angeles 2028 Games. You will coordinate with Venues, Infrastructure, Planning and Programs, and other FAs to ensure timely, accurate delivery of technology initiatives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience, advanced Smartsheet skills, and a PM certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or relevant experience.
• Formal project or program management qualification (Prince2, MSP, PMI).
• Smartsheet Project Management Certification a plus.
• 5+ years of technology project management experience, ideally within live events, venue operations, or large-scale infrastructure.
• Proven ability to manage tasks and timelines with precision under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced Smartsheet proficiency; Tableau or similar tools a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support the program management and reporting function for VTS, interfacing with other key FA’s including Venues and Infrastructure, Planning and Programs, Energy and Logistics.
• Manage and execute regular internal departmental communications, and create and distribute periodic venue technology updates.
• Assist in managing and updating the Venue Technology Implementation Plan.
• Proactively monitor departmental workflows to ensure teams remain on task and projects are delivered on schedule.
• Support Telecoms, Service Delivery, Results and Cyber Security teams with actionable implementation plans.
• Oversee day-to-day VTS administrative operations ensuring compliance and timely documentation.
• Provide administrative and operational support across VTS functions, including change control, internal communications, mobilization, and logistics.
• Undertake additional tasks as required due to the unpredictable nature of event delivery.
• Manage a small team of direct reports to deliver support to the wider VTS team.
