Oak View Group in Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Kovalchick Complex is seeking an Event Operations Manager to supervise and coordinate all facets of facility operations, including daily maintenance, event setups, and custodial services. The role offers an annual salary of $50,000–$52,000.

The position requires 3–5+ years in sports/events venue operations, strong leadership, and the ability to manage multiple tasks, irregular hours, and contractor coordination.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5+ years in facility operations at a sports/events venue.
• Experience overseeing staff for conversions and custodial services.
• Knowledge of operation equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, staging, retractable seating).
• Knowledge of custodial equipment (floor scrubbers, buffers, vacuums).
• Familiarity with facility operations, changeovers, maintenance, custodial services.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise custodial needs of the facility.
• Oversee setup and operational needs of the facility.
• Inspect and maintain facility equipment, HVAC, lighting, plumbing.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness and enforce procedures.
• Coordinate with outside contractors/vendors.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients.
