Jefferson County is seeking a Fairgrounds Services Specialist to maintain venue facilities year-round, perform preventive maintenance and custodial duties, and manage events to ensure customer satisfaction while protecting County assets.

You will oversee event setup, address concerns, and perform administrative tasks while coordinating with teams; the role requires weekend work and flexibility in scheduling across varying conditions.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or GED or equivalent certificate.
• Experience: 1 year of work-related experience.
• Ability to adjust work schedule to operational and event needs including holidays.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee event management and address public safety concerns.
• Set up and breakdown events and address customer issues.
• Perform administrative tasks as needed.
• Protect County property and assets.
• Handle sensitive and unexpected situations.
• Accept and document funds from asset usage.
• Oversee maintenance projects and site conditions.
• Perform preventative site maintenance and custodial duties.
• Grounds keeping including snow removal for safety.
• Weekend availability and flexibility.
