Job summary

AEG WORLDWIDE seeks a Maintenance Specialist to ensure venue functionality before, during, and after events. Responsibilities include painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, HVAC, and general upkeep to keep the venue at peak condition.

The role involves supervising part-time cleaners, coordinating with vendors, and supporting production needs. Strong knowledge of electrical/plumbing systems and ability to work flexible hours are required.

Qualifications

  • Must have immediate knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing systems - National Electrical Code a plus.
  • Organized with previous supervision experience.
  • Able to meet tight deadlines and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
  • Must be able to work flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and some holidays.
  • Must be able to climb, crawl, bend, and stoop with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Basic computer skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform daily maintenance and cleaning tasks as per venue event schedule.
  • Inspect facility systems to detect malfunctions and determine repairs.
  • Develop standard procedures for maintaining cleanliness and upkeep of venue assets.
  • Assist with purchasing work materials as needed.
  • Schedule and supervise part-time cleaners according to event schedule.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors on repair and maintenance work and assist with production advancement.
