Job summary

LA28 is seeking a Sr. Manager, Venue Infrastructure Delivery to lead design development and delivery for Games-time venues in Los Angeles. You will oversee staff, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and manage budgets to meet ambitious project milestones.

The role requires a minimum 7 years in event overlay design or temporary infrastructure, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and ability to work on-site at LA venues; relocation is not provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-years of relevant industry in event overlay design and temporary infrastructure delivery.
• Preferred working knowledge of California Building Code requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Sports Management, Construction Management, Event Management, or related field or equivalent work experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, motivate, and evaluate department staff.
• Directly supervise sub-functions including design teams.
• Develop and adhere to departmental budget with clear steps to implement, monitor, and appropriately measure deliverables.
• Assist in the delivery of the design development strategy and process for one of the Games Time Venues.
• Support the integration of internal stakeholders with external delivery partners to ensure a coordinated process.
• Facilitate approvals and review process for all internal and external stakeholders involved in establishing venue technical requirements for Games infrastructure.
