Job summary

LA28 in Los Angeles is seeking an experienced Event and Venue General Manager to lead the integrated operational planning and delivery for Olympic and Paralympic venues. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams, partners, and authorities to ensure readiness and flawless event execution at Games-time.

The role requires 8+ years in major events, strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills, and a track record of delivering complex operations on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in sports/event management
• Proven track record of leading planning and delivery of large-scale operations
• Past Games experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and deliver venue-based Event Operations plans.
• Lead venue team to achieve readiness and stakeholder deliverables.
• Build strong relationships with venue partners and stakeholders.
• Coordinate with venue owners and authorities on the Venue Use Agreement.
• Prepare reports on planning status for senior leaders.
• Ensure inclusive, accessible venue operations and safety compliance.
