Job summary

LA28 is seeking an Associate, Venue Infrastructure in Downtown Los Angeles to support planning and coordination of venue infrastructure. You will report to the Manager and VNI SVP, assisting with team coordination, timelines, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure functional, sustainable, and inclusive venues for the Games.

The role demands strong project management, organization, and communication—plus at least 2 years of experience and a bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience and bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Familiarity with sports and event planning preferred.
• Strong organizational and project management skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint; Smartsheet; familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present information effectively.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to support development of Venue Infrastructure.
• Support the integration of Venue Infrastructure sub streams and overall coordination of department.
• Work with contractor and suppliers to support delivery of milestones.
• Assist in onboarding new hires and new contractors.
• Collaborate with Venue Management, Accessibility, and Games Operations for cohesive planning.
