Job summary

South Haven Creations is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Venue Attendant to join our team. You will help maintain the venue’s appearance and readiness before, during, and after events, ensuring spaces are clean, safe, and guest-ready.

Responsibilities include grounds upkeep, event setup/teardown, furniture handling, indoor cleaning, and reporting maintenance needs. Weekend shifts from 1:00 PM to Midnight with possible daytime weekday hours; physical work required.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physical labor including lifting and moving furniture
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to a clean, safe environment

Responsibilities

• Grounds & Facility Upkeep: mow and maintain grounds, remove leaves/debris from ceremony sites, walkways, patios and parking areas, and prep outdoor fireplace.
• Event Support: assist with venue setup and teardown for events.
• Furnishings Management: straighten, clean, stack, and store ceremony chairs; move arbors and other furnishings as needed.
• Cleaning & Maintenance: mop floors, clean and restock restrooms, maintain indoor spaces.
• Property Oversight: identify maintenance needs and report repairs to keep the venue in top condition for guests.
