Job summary

VenuWorks is seeking a reliable janitorial specialist to maintain the venue, including the administrative office, Arena, Conference Center, and ticket office. You will assist with event setup and teardown, and perform routine custodial tasks during events to ensure a safe, clean environment.

The role involves cleaning floors, restrooms, and public areas, with possible evenings or weekend hours to accommodate shows and events.

Qualifications

• Experience in custodial or janitorial work.
• Able to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Familiar with MSDS and chemical safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Sweeps, mops, seals, waxes floors and cleans walls/woodwork.
• Vacuum carpets and remove stains; dust furniture.
• Prepare function spaces for meetings and help set up tables and chairs for events.
• Clean and polish restrooms.
• Maintain clean public areas, parking lots, loading docks and storage areas.
• Assist with event setup/teardown and general custodial duties during events.
