Job summary

The Standard Hotel Ice Rink in New York, NY, operated by TSHTL SFM, LLC, seeks a General Manager to drive financial and operating performance for the venue. This role emphasizes profitability, accountability, and cross‑departmental collaboration to meet growth and service goals.

You will lead major initiatives, oversee departments, and develop policies that maximize returns while ensuring safety and exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Prior responsibility in daily P&L management and budget oversight of $1MM or greater.
• Proven management and leadership experience in the food and beverage, recreational, and entertainment industry.
• Operational knowledge of F&B, entertainment, and sport clubs; events and teambuilding experience preferred.
• Experience contracting or overseeing sponsorships, corporate events, and related services preferred.
• Experience managing marketing programs and risk management.

Responsibilities

• Analyze operations and identify cost reductions and program improvements.
• Appoint department heads and delegate responsibilities.
• Coordinate budgetary control systems and administrative processes.
• Direct financial and budget activities to fund operations and maximize investments.
• Direct human resources and establish major departments and staffing.
• Develop and implement policies to maximize returns and productivity.
• Prepare budgets and present activity reports to leadership.
• Solicit and manage external partnerships and promotional campaigns.
