SPS is seeking an Ice Rink Client Service Manager in New York to lead daily rink operations, ensure safety and guest satisfaction, and manage a large staff across roles. You will oversee scheduling, payroll, events, and performance, while maintaining high service standards in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, exceptional communication, and the ability to coordinate with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of management experience in hospitality, recreation, or facility operations.
• Proven ability to lead large teams in a high-volume, fast-paced setting.
• Strong scheduling and payroll administration background.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to evolving operational demands.
• Experience in a unionized work environment is a plus.
• Ice rink, sports facility, or event operations experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily rink operations to ensure safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.
• Manage opening/closing procedures and facility readiness.
• Coordinate public skating, events, and bookings with stakeholders.
• Supervise ~100 staff across multiple roles; conduct hiring and training.
• Lead payroll, scheduling, budgeting, and labor reporting tasks.
• Monitor safety, incidents, and equipment needs; enforce policies.
• Deliver coaching and performance reviews to maintain engagement.
