Job summary

AEG is seeking a General Manager to oversee facility operations, bookings, finance, marketing, staffing and production maintenance. You will lead and coordinate departments, drive plans and liaison with corporate and community partners to ensure safe, efficient venue operations.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership across multiple departments and venues.
• Experience with budget creation and financial analysis for events and operations.
• Strong communication and staff development skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, training and evaluating management and staff; set org structure and performance expectations.
• Organize and direct activities and facilities operations; ensure safety and efficiency.
• Develop annual operating calendar, schedule, attendance projections and revenue forecasts.
• Prepare and monitor program budgets; manage costs for events and services.
• Maintain reports for city or managing firm; coordinate with accounting and staff.
• Oversee day-to-day operations and post-event reviews.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA/OSHA-like safety standards.
• Lead inter-departmental meetings and staff training.
• Handle customer service inquiries with 24-hour issue resolution.
