Job summary

AEG seeks a General Manager to oversee the overall management and operation of the venue, including staffing, finance, marketing, production and maintenance, while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

You will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, negotiate contracts with vendors and partners, and develop community engagement strategies to drive revenue and long-term success from pre-opening through ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in a related field.
• 10+ years of related work experience.
• Experience overseeing physical venue operations.
• Proven leadership, budgeting, and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of music industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all facility operations and daily activities.
• Plan, organize, recruit, hire, train, and evaluate staff.
• Develop and manage operating budgets and financial performance.
• Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with vendors and partners.
• Lead cross-functional leadership meetings for operations and events.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations and prepare reports.
• Lead pre-opening and transition from construction to operations.
