Job summary

The Hanover Theatre & Conservatory for the Performing Arts is seeking a Facilities Operations Specialist to ensure safe, efficient operation of the venue and campus. You will perform preventive maintenance, coordinate repairs, and manage building systems across the theatre, conservatory, and event spaces.

Collaborating with the Director of Operations & Customer Experience, you will monitor HVAC, electrical, and life-safety systems, coordinate with vendors, and support event readiness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Three to five years of facilities maintenance or building operations experience.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical or fire protection familiarity preferred.
• Experience coordinating external vendors and contractors preferred.
• OSHA 10 certification or relevant safety training preferred.
• Valid driver’s license preferred if travel is required.
• Equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine building maintenance, minor repairs, and preventive maintenance.
• Respond to maintenance requests and facility emergencies.
• Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, logs, and work orders.
• Coordinate inspections, service, and maintenance of building systems.
• Coordinate vendor and contractor access and schedules.
• Assist with event facility setup and teardown and cross‑department collaboration.
