Job summary

Community College of Denver | Loretto Heights seeks a Venue Director to lead all venue operations and serve as the key liaison between CCD and Denver Arts & Venues. You will oversee budget management, staff performance, and external relations to advance the venue’s mission in a dynamic Denver environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in arts administration, non‑profit management, business or a related field or equivalent experience in performing arts venue management.
• Four to seven years of experience at the Associate Director or Director level or above in performing arts, cultural, entertainment venue or non‑profit management, with demonstrated administrative leadership and management experience.
• Experience with front‑of‑house venue technology and standard office equipment.

Responsibilities

• External relations & representation: Serve as the primary liaison between CCD and DAV and represent the venue to partners, artists, audiences and the community.
• Sales & operations management: Direct day‑to‑day venue operations, scheduling, rentals, box office, production, and guest services.
• Financial oversight: Manage the venue’s annual budget and drive earned revenue through rentals, ticket sales, sponsorship and other income streams.
• Staff leadership: Lead, motivate, supervise and evaluate venue staff and mentor student workers.
• Success metrics & mission alignment: Track KPIs and ensure operations align with CCD and DAV goals.
