Job summary

Community College of Denver (CCD) at Loretto Heights is seeking a Director of Education & Work-Based Learning to lead competency‑based education and work-based learning experiences for the Venue Management and Operations AAS degree program. Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in event planning/management, technical theater, performing arts, hospitality, business, education, or related field.
• Minimum three years full-time experience in event planning/management, performing arts, venue operations/management, entertainment trade, or higher education.
• Preferred five to seven years full-time experience and experience creating competency-based educational programs, apprenticeship, and/or integrating work-based learning experiences into curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and staff courses in the venue management and operations degree program.
• Coordinate and manage the day-to-day operations of student work-based learning initiatives.
• Assist students with advising, registration, progression through the program, and other student support needs.
• Serve as a liaison between the Loretto Heights venue and CCD’s academic affairs division and pathway dean.
• Engage in data tracking and reporting efforts; collaborate with departments to create student-success opportunities.
• Oversee curriculum review, program review, assessment, and data-driven improvements.
