In this role, you will manage the day-to-day operational tasks that keep our clients running smoothly. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with 0-2 years of operations and administrative experience. Venture Capital ecosystem experience is a plus.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on position where no two days look the same. You will have direct visibility into how venture capital firms operate and grow, and your work will directly enable that growth. We invest in our people: this role offers significant room for advancement, mentorship, and continuous learning, with a clear path to take on greater responsibility as you develop. The ideal candidate is process- and detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a dynamic, client-facing environment.

Responsibilities
Client & Account Management
  • Manage and prioritize the day-to-day operational tasks for an assigned portfolio of venture capital firm and operating company clients.
  • Serve as a responsive, professional point of contact for client requests, keeping each account organized and on track.
  • Track deliverables and deadlines across multiple clients simultaneously, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Maintain accurate, well-organized records and documentation for each client, including correspondence, filings, and compliance files.
Compliance & Filings Monitoring
  • Monitor and maintain a compliance calendar capturing each entity’s filing due dates across jurisdictions.
  • Track annual report and biennial statement deadlines and confirm acceptance of filings.
  • Assist with the preparation and submission of corporate documents, including entity formations, amendments, and dissolutions.
  • Navigate state and local agency processes to confirm filing status, resolve holds, and reach the appropriate point of contact.
Vendor & State Agency Coordination
  • Contact and coordinate with vendors, registered agents, and third-party service providers to ensure timely filings and uninterrupted service.
  • Communicate with secretaries of state and other state agencies to keep client entities in good standing.
  • Monitor state-level changes to forms, fees, due dates, and submission requirements, and flag any changes that affect client compliance.
  • Reconcile vendor invoices and service confirmations against client records.
General Operations Support
  • Support venture capital firms and their operating companies with ad hoc operational requests and projects.
  • Help document and improve internal processes as the team scales.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver accurate, timely results for clients.
Key Skills & Attributes for Success
  • Highly Organized: Able to juggle multiple clients, deadlines, and tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Attention to Detail: Accuracy in tracking filings, deadlines, and client records is critical.
  • Proactive Mindset: Anticipates needs, takes initiative, and follows through without being asked.
  • Strong Communication: Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients, vendors, agencies, and internal teams.
  • Patient & Persistent: Stays calm and determined through long hold times, bureaucratic processes, and difficult or unhelpful contacts. Follows up until the issue is resolved.
  • Comfortable in a Fast-Paced Environment: Thrives in a dynamic, high-volume, client-facing capacity and stays composed under deadline pressure.
  • Eager to Learn: Excited to grow within venture operations and take on increasing responsibility over time.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree (any field; Business, Finance, or a related area is a plus).
  • 0–2 years of operations, administrative, or coordination experience.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets and general comfort learning new software and online portals.
  • Exposure to venture capital, private equity, fund administration, or corporate/entity services is a plus, but not required.
  • High degree of professionalism, accountability, and client-service orientation.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a genuine willingness to learn and grow in a dynamic team.
