Gunderson Dettmer has an opening for a Venture Fund Paralegal.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties supporting venture capital fund formation and the ongoing operation of funds.
• Maintain fund formation checklists.
• Review and respond to investor subscriptions.
• Organize general partner, main fund, side fund, and management company entities.
• Distribute closing documents to investors.
• Make federal and state securities law filings.
• Prepare closing volumes.
• Assist with transfers of interests in venture capital funds, including preparing transfer agreements and reviewing the eligibility of new investors.

Qualifications

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good judgment, initiative, and flexibility.
• At least one year of prior experience in the fund formation practice area.
• BS/BA Degree required.

Employment Type: Full Time, Non‑Exempt. Location: Los Angeles - Hybrid.

Salary: The annualized base salary range for this position is expected to be $75,000.00 - $180,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum value for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations, with the offer for the successful candidate based on job‑related capabilities, applicable experience, and other factors such as work location.
