Job summary

Mass General Brigham Ventures is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to support its portfolio of life science investments. This role partners with finance, investment, and investor relations teams, plus external administrators and banks, to ensure smooth fund operations and reporting.

You will drive cash flow models, capital calls, distributions, and investor communications, while upholding strong internal controls and GAAP compliance in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4–6 years of venture capital, private equity, public accounting, or fund administration experience.
• Advanced Excel with complex formulas and data modeling.
• Knowledge of venture capital fund structures, including capital calls and distributions.
• GAAP accounting principles and fund financial reporting understanding.

Responsibilities

• Manage cash flow spreadsheets for investments, returns, and metrics.
• Coordinate with fund administrator, accountants, banks, and brokers for timely fund operations.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for Investment Committee and LPs.
• Align capital flow projections with portfolio performance in treasury processes.
• Oversee annual audit and tax filing processes and documentation.
