Considine Search is seeking a corporate associate with 2 to 8 years of Emerging Growth/ Venture Capital experience to join its corporate group, focusing on working with emerging growth companies and the institutional investors that support them across the New York and Washington, D.C. offices.

This on-site role requires a JD from an accredited law school, bar admission in the respective state, and strong drafting and research skills for VC financings and M&A.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Bar admission in the state of office.
• Minimum 2 years of Emerging Growth/Venture Capital experience, AmLaw 100 firm preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support transaction prep and strategy.
• Draft contracts, briefs, motions, and correspondence.
• Manage complex transactions from inception to resolution, including VC financings and M&A.
• Build and maintain client relationships, providing proactive advice on corporate matters.
• Collaborate with attorneys and business professionals to achieve favorable outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with legal standards and regulations.
