BCG Attorney Search is seeking a mid-level Emergin g Companies and Venture Capital Associate Attorney in Austin, Texas. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in emerging companies and venture capital work, with emphasis on seed finance and growth-stage startups.

Responsibilities include advising startups on seed and venture financings, handling NVCA-based financings, and managing domestic M&A for startups and investors.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in emerging companies and venture capital work.
• Experience with start-ups, seed and venture financings, and public offerings.
• Admitted to the state bar where practicing or eligible to waive in.

Responsibilities

• Advise start-ups and emerging growth companies on seed and venture financings.
• Conduct venture financings using NVCA documents.
• Manage domestic M&A transactions for startup companies and investors.
• Communicate complex matters effectively in oral and written form.
• Develop and maintain client and counsel relationships.
