Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program.
• IL and/or WI Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• CPR and NRP within 90 days as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine therapies aiding treatment, diagnosis, and evaluation of cardiopulmonary status.
• Initiate, monitor, evaluate, and wean invasive and non-invasive ventilation.
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses in the EMR and departmental records.
• Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators and non-invasive devices.
• Respond to emergent care situations per American Heart Association guidelines.
