Job summary

Location Services in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a Vendor Development Specialist to manage special projects, resolve escalated vendor issues, and identify opportunities to improve vendor performance and service delivery.

This role focuses on strengthening vendor relationships, ensuring compliance with standards, and supporting continuous improvement through data-driven analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Associates degree preferred or 2+ years equivalent related work experience.
• Detail oriented, efficient and accurate data typing and research.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Location Services has geographical repossession coverage to accommodate client’s needs.
• Monitor LPR Recoveries: review license plate recognition vendors for compliance and proper handling of each assignment.
• Review Storage Lot Compliance: assess storage lots to ensure they are active and meet insurance/lot requirements.
• Review and monitor the performance of the vendor network, identify trends, improvement opportunities, and vendors needing intervention.
• Ensure SLA adherence: monitor vendor compliance with SLAs and make sure terms and performance are met.
• Coordinate vendor-related activities to promote efficient partnerships.
• Assist with special projects in the Vendor Relations department to ensure smooth operations.
