Job summary

Airbnb is seeking a Vendor Manager focused on operational vendor support to own end-to-end management of a portfolio of third-party partners delivering critical operational services for guests and hosts. You will apply deep expertise in vendor management, SLA frameworks, and data-driven decision making to optimize performance and cost outcomes.

This US remote-eligible role requires strong negotiation and stakeholder-management skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in vendor management, claims adjusting, or outsourcing management.
• Proven track record managing large-scale vendors with minimal oversight.
• Strong analytical skills with Excel/Sheets, SQL, or BI tools.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day management and performance oversight of an assigned portfolio of vendors within established team strategy and governance.
• Lead daily/weekly performance forums, synthesizing data to diagnose root causes and drive action plans with vendors.
• Escalate complex or high-risk vendor issues and negotiate resolutions with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Oversee vendor invoice management and financial governance end-to-end.
• Mentor less experienced vendor managers and contribute to process improvements.
