Abbott is seeking a Vendor Master Data Manager for the North American region (US, Puerto Rico, Canada) to lead a multi-geography team and oversee master data governance in SAP/MDG environments. The role ensures data quality, alignment with standards, and KPI monitoring across systems.

The position combines hands-on data management with people leadership and global project support, requiring strong collaboration with Procurement, Finance, IT, and ERP teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Master Data Management, Vendor Master Data, Procurement Operations, Shared Services, Finance, ERP support, or a related function.
• Minimum 2 years of experience leading, supervising, mentoring, or coordinating a team.
• Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP MDG, Ariba, or equivalent enterprise systems.
• Experience managing operational processes, service level agreements, and performance metrics.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work across functional and geographic boundaries.

Responsabilidades

• People Leadership: Manage a team of vendor master data analysts and coordinators, as well as 3rd party provider.
• Data Management & Governance / Quality: Ensure accurate supplier master data across multiple systems while adhering to governance rules and ensuring consistency across applications.
• Stakeholder Collaboration & Communication: Establish and maintain working relationships with internal stakeholders, including Procurement, Finance, IT, ERP support teams and business process owners.
• System Expertise & Support: Become Subject Matter Expert for supported systems and provide guidance regarding vendor master data policies, standards and processes.
• Project & Global Support: Contribute to and support local and global initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives and successful project execution.
• Continuous Improvement: Support a culture of continuous improvement and collaborate cross functionally to raise potential process improvements.
• Compliance & Audit: Participate and provide support in internal and external audit activities, ensuring adherence to policies and data governance controls.
• Change Management: Support implementation of organizational, process, and system changes impacting vendor master data.
