Job summary

ProAmpac is seeking a Manager, Master Data to lead the lifecycle of core master data domains and drive governance across ERP platforms like SAP and Oracle. You’ll collaborate with IT and business teams to improve data quality, standards, and controls in a remote US role.

You will mentor data stewards, implement KPIs, and support SOX/GDPR compliance while delivering agile data initiatives that power reporting and analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in master data management, data stewardship, data quality, or data governance.
• Hands-on ERP experience and MDG/MDM platform familiarity.
• Strong SQL and Excel capabilities with data profiling and validation.
• Experience using agile methodologies for project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of assigned master data domains, from creation to retirement.
• Develop and maintain enterprise data standards, rules, naming conventions, and definitions.
• Establish and monitor data quality KPIs covering accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
• Use dashboards to identify quality trends and drive corrective actions.
• Lead data cleansing, deduplication, and data migrations across ERP systems.
• Collaborate with IT to improve MDM platforms and workflows.
• Maintain data dictionaries, glossaries, and data lineage documentation.
• Support internal controls (SOX, GDPR) and audit readiness.
• Mentor junior data stewards and promote governance accountability.
• Contribute to the data governance council and drive agile initiatives.
