Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Vendor Master Data Compliance Specialist to govern vendor master data processes and ensure compliance across banking, tax, and legal records. This role partners with external vendors and internal teams to validate documentation and support onboarding or remediation activities.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with 2–4 years of experience in master data management and a strong focus on accuracy, controls, and timely data processing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data management, Information Systems, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years in master data management, internal controls, or financial operations.
• Strong attention to detail and timely data accuracy.
• Good written and verbal communication with vendors and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of industry standards and control frameworks.
• Ability to identify risks and propose solutions.

Responsibilities

• Enforces vendor master data compliance processes and internal controls.
• Reviews, validates, and approves vendor records for set-ups, changes and inactivation.
• Ensures accuracy of banking, tax, address, contact and legal entity data in vendor records.
• Validates and retains required compliance documentation.
• Performs third-party validations (GIACT, TIN Check, D&B).
• Audits VMDM and ERP enrichment for proper vendor setup.
• Supports audit activities with documentation and responses.
• Manages VMD/FVM vendor master workflows to meet SLAs and segregation of duties.
