Job summary

Ahold Delhaize USA is seeking a Vendor Master Data Compliance Specialist to lead governance of vendor master data processes, ensure controls, and support onboarding or remediation activities. This role partners with external vendors, banking institutions, and internal stakeholders to validate documentation and resolve issues.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule with 3 in-person days at core locations (Salisbury NC, Quincy MA, Carlisle PA, Scarborough ME) and 2 remote days, with travel

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in data management, information systems, or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in master data management or internal controls.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Good communication with vendors and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of internal controls and industry practices.
• Ability to identify issues and assess risk.
• Ability to plan and schedule workload.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments with deadlines.
• Willingness to travel 10–20%.
• Uses data tools to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

• Enforces vendor master data compliance per controls and regs.
• Reviews and approves vendor records for setup and changes.
• Ensures data accuracy for banking, tax, address, and legal entities.
• Collects and retains required compliance documents.
• Performs third-party validations: GIACT, TIN Check, Dun & Bradstreet.
• Audits VMDM attributes to ensure compliance.
• Audits ERP enrichment for vendor setup and updates.
• Supports audit activities with documentation and responses.
• Manages VMD/FVM vendor workflows and SLA timelines.
• Mentors team on master data management best practices.
• Collaborates with Master Data Management Support to fix violations.
• Takes on enterprise-support duties as needed.
