Job summary

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a large, publicly traded organization in New Hampshire to identify a Vendor Credit Analyst to join their Vendor Accounting team. This entry-level role focuses on vendor rebates, reconciliations, credits, and receivables in Merrimack.

The position is temp to perm, with compensation up to $24/hour DOE. Strong Excel skills, data entry accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Entry-level accounting, AR, billing, cash applications, administrative, clerical, or customer service experience.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with high volumes of data and performing accurate data entry.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including sorting, filtering, and basic spreadsheet functions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile monthly vendor statements and assigned vendor accounts.
• Follow up on vendor chargebacks, returns, rebates, and other outstanding items.
• Collect vendor receivables related to CO-OP advertising, price protection, returns, accruals, and other credits.
• Research and resolve invoice, payment, and credit discrepancies.
• Communicate with vendors and internal teams to resolve account issues.
• Review supporting documentation and submit vendor claims through online portals.
• Follow up on outstanding claims, approvals, and payments.
• Apply vendor payments and credits to appropriate invoices and accounts.
• Maintain accurate records and keep assigned accounts current.

KBW Financial Staffing & Recruiting is partnering with a large, publicly traded organization in New Hampshire to identify a Vendor Credit Analyst to join their Vendor Accounting team. This is an entry-level opportunity focused on vendor rebates, reconciliations, credits, and receivables. The company is open to early-career candidates with accounting experience as well as those coming from clerical, administrative, customer service, or call center backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:
