Job summary

Motion Industries in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Vendor Management Office Analyst to oversee IT procurement and contract management under governance policies.

Under limited supervision, you will build vendor relationships, negotiate software/hardware contracts, manage lifecycle renewals, and drive cost savings while collaborating with IT stakeholders. This role requires a bachelor's degree and 3+ years of related experience; familiarity with DocuSign CLM is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or related field.
• 3+ years of technology procurement or contract management experience.
• Experience with enterprise contracts and licensing.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and negotiation.

Responsibilities

• Builds relationships with strategic technology vendors.
• Negotiate software, hardware, labor and security contracts.
• Develops contract negotiation strategies.
• Manages contract lifecycle including renewals.
• Identifies cost reduction opportunities from spend.
• Partners with stakeholders to validate utilization and demand.
• Conducts market research and benchmarking as needed.
• Defines and documents IT VMO processes.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
