Job summary

PTSolutions, a leading vending and industrial tool provider, is seeking a VMI Specialist based in Dallas, TX. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain tool and MRO vending machines at customer sites, with training provided. Remote support from your branch location is possible, but some hands-on visits are required.

You will handle service tickets, maintain machine inventory, and coordinate with sales teams to optimize customer programs. Travel is 20%.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program and troubleshoot vending machines and related tools.
• Answer calls daily and create/log service tickets.

• Communicate with customer personnel in a timely, professional manner.
• Respond quickly to replenishment needs and add product lines.
• Keep service levels and processes efficient with improvements.
• Coordinate with local Sales, Sales Manager and VMI Manager.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup.
• Receive and sort materials according to standards.
• Assist on other projects as needed.
• Travel up to 20% to customer sites.

We’re looking for anVending Support Specialist to join our team. Working as a Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) Specialist, you will play a pivotal role with supporting our customers’ manufacturing process & capabilities. We will provide the training needed for you to effectively & efficiently install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair the tool & MRO industrial vending machines that are located in our customers’ manufacturing facilities. Our team of VMI Specialists can effectively support our customers remotely via your reporting branch location, but installations and some hands-on repairs will require an onsite visit.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Set up, program, and troubleshoot tool & MRO industrial vending machines
• Answer and respond to multiple calls daily while creating & logging service tickets.
• Regularly maintain an accurate inventory for each machine at each customer; remotely via the communicated machine data & onsite as required.
• Communicate with all customer personnel in a timely, professional, and courteous manner.
• Quickly respond to customer demand for replenishment & additional product lines in their VMI programs.
• Maintain quality service levels and process efficiencies while providing for continuous departmental improvements.
• Effectively coordinate with local Field Sales, Sales Manager, and VMI Manager regarding customer accounts & best practices.
• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Receive, sort, and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to organizational standards.
• Assist with other projects & duties when the business needs require.
• Travel: 20%

Experience and Skills

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be age 21+ in order to drive a company vehicle
• Valid drivers license with clean driving record
• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency
