Job summary

Holman Upfitting in Missouri is seeking an Installation Mechanic to assemble and install vehicle equipment in a fast-paced shop. You will read work instructions and prints, mount electrical components, test installations, and ensure all line items are completed on the work order.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of electrical or mechanical experience or are enrolled in a technical program, plus the ability to use hand and power tools and read electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Vehicle electrical/wiring experience required.
• 1-3 years of electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience required.
• Or completion/current enrollment in an accredited Technical School.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Understand electrical schematics and 12V circuits.
• Troubleshoot problems and read work orders.

Responsibilities

• Build vehicles according to work instructions and prints.
• Safely mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Test installed parts prior to final inspection.
• Verify all line items are completed on the work order.
• Communicate suggestions and errors to drive process improvements.
