Job summary

Holman’s Upfitting division seeks an Installation Mechanic in Blue Mound, TX to install aftermarket equipment on new vehicles in a safety-first environment. 1-3 years of electrical, mechanical, and assembly experience preferred; must be able to use hand and power tools and read 12V schematics.

You will test installations, follow Work Orders, and communicate improvement ideas while working towards quality and production incentives. Benefits include health, dental, vision, PTO, holidays, and more.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience or current enrollment in a technical program.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Understand electrical schematics and 12V circuits.
• Troubleshoot problems across installation tasks.
• Must pass physical, drug test, and background check; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Install new aftermarket equipment on vehicles in a safety-first environment.
• Ensure high quality to improve appearance and safety for customers.
• Work in a fast-paced setting with production incentives and piece rate.
• Test installed parts prior to final inspection.
• Reference Work Orders for placement and function of equipment.
• Communicate enhancement ideas and errors to relevant teams for process improvement.
