Holman Upfitting in O'Fallon, Missouri, is seeking an Installation Mechanic to assemble vehicles, mount electrical equipment, and test parts according to work instructions. The position offers $22.00 per hour (piece rate), Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, with a benefits package including PTO, health, dental and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of electrical, mechanical, and equipment assembly experience.
• Vehicle electrical/wiring experience required; decal exp is a plus.
• Completion or enrollment in an accredited technical school.
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Understand electrical schematics and 12V circuits.
• Ability to work in multiple environments and weather conditions.
• Must pass physical, drug test, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Build vehicles according to work instructions and prints.
• Mount and connect mechanical and electrical equipment safely.
• Test installed parts prior to final inspection.
• Verify all line items completed on the work order.
• Inform and communicate suggestions for process improvement.
