Job summary

Holman Enterprises is seeking an Installation Mechanic A in Ft. Wayne, IN to join our team. You will assemble and install vehicle bodies, systems, and equipment, and you will read wiring diagrams and schematics to ensure proper operation.

The role requires welding, hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting, and the ability to work safely with hand and power tools. A strong mechanical aptitude and attention to quality craftsmanship are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience assembling and installing vehicle systems per specs.
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Experience with MIG welding and fabrication.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and build vehicles per work instructions and specifications.
• Install mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and crane systems.
• Fill vehicle systems with required fluids and verify proper operation.
• Perform functional testing of installed components and moving parts.
• Read and interpret wiring diagrams, hydraulic schematics, prints, and work orders.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic issues.
• Perform MIG welding, cutting, fabrication, and equipment installation as required.
• Conduct quality inspections to identify leaks, defects, or installation concerns.
• Record equipment serial numbers and vehicle information.
