Mobile Communications America (MCA) seeks an experienced Vehicle Installer in the Savannah, GA area to support the MSS division. The role involves connecting electrical fittings, wiring, antenna systems, and installing equipment for a variety of vehicles, while ensuring safety and quality.

Travel may be required to meet project schedules. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of technical experience with vehicle systems (radios, GPS, cameras, sirens), reads diagrams, and performs electrical

Qualifications

• 2 years of technical experience or a related education.
• Experience installing systems within vehicles (2-way radios, GPS, cameras, sirens).
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and wiring schematics.
• Basic testing and troubleshooting of electrical and system issues.
• Willingness to perform physical upfits and installations.

Responsibilities

• Connect electrical fittings, drill holes, solder, and modify vehicles for equipment acceptance.
• Install electrical wiring, antenna systems, route data and power cabling, and apply connectors.
• Disassemble/reassemble trim, seats, lights, and carpets to route wiring.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems as needed.
• Complete installations for a range of vehicle makes/models (sedans to buses).
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and organize tools.
• Learn new products and techniques from colleagues and manufacturers.
• Complete required paperwork and protect confidential information.
