Job summary

Mobile Communications America (MCA) seeks an experienced Vehicle Installer in Georgetown, Texas, to support the Voice (MSS) division. The role requires installing and wiring vehicle systems, antennas, GPS, sirens, and related equipment, with hands-on testing and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 2 years of technical experience or related education, reads diagrams, and can route wiring safely. Travel within Georgetown and surrounding areas is expected; first shift with potential second/third

Qualifications

2 years of technical experience, or a combination of related education/experience.
Experience installing systems/equipment within various vehicle types (2-way radios, controls, lighting, cameras, antennas, GPS, sirens).
Ability to read electrical diagrams and install wiring.
Basic ability to test/troubleshoot electrical and system issues.
Ability to assemble/disassemble, route wiring, connect fittings, install wiring harnesses, drill holes, solder, and perform upfits.

Responsibilities

Connect electrical fittings, drill holes, solder, and modify vehicles for emergency equipment.
Install electrical wiring, antenna systems, data and power cabling, and connectors.
Disassemble/reassemble trim, seats, lights, and carpets to route wiring.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment issues as necessary.
Complete installations for various vehicle makes/models (sedans, SUVs, trucks, buses, motorcycles).
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and proper documentation.
Learn new products and techniques from colleagues and manufacturers.
