Job summary

Mobile Communications America, Inc. (MCA) is seeking a Vehicle Installer to support the MSS division in Georgetown, TX. The role involves installing electrical wiring, antenna systems, data and power cabling, and performing upfits on a variety of vehicle types in a fast-growing team.

Qualifications

2 years of technical experience or a combination of related education/experience.
Basic knowledge of installing systems/equipment in vehicles (2-way radios, controls, lighting, cameras, antennas, GPS, sirens).
Ability to read electrical diagrams and test/troubleshoot electrical systems.

Responsibilities

Connect electrical fittings, drill holes, solder, and modify vehicles for equipment upfits.
Install wiring, antenna systems, data and power cabling, and connectors.
Disassemble/reassemble trim and seating to route wiring and install equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems as needed.
Complete installations for various vehicle makes/models (sedans, SUVs, trucks, buses, bikes).
Maintain a safe, clean work environment and tools.
Learn new products and techniques from colleagues/manufacturers.
Complete paperwork and documentation.
