Job summary

Canadian Pacific Railway is hiring an Auto Loader to unload new vehicles from railcars and prepare them for their next destination. The role involves outdoor work, following safety procedures, and coordinating with a team to maintain efficient automotive logistics.

You will move vehicles, remove rail chocks, and position bridge plates to ensure safe access between rail cars. A strong safety mindset and ability to work in all weather are required.

Qualifications

• Safety-minded, capable of working outdoors around heavy equipment.
• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Able to follow advanced written instructions and training.

Responsibilities

• Unload new vehicles from railcars and handle them with care to keep them pristine.
• Safely move and park brand-new vehicles as part of the automotive logistics process.
• Work outdoors in a clean, well-maintained environment while following safety procedures.
• Remove rail chocks from tires to prepare vehicles for unloading.
• Lift, position, and lay bridge plates to enable safe access between rail cars.
