Road & Rail Services in Twin Oaks, PA is hiring Vehicle Unloaders to help safely unload newly manufactured vehicles from railcars and move them to staging and parking areas within the facility.

This hands-on, outdoor role requires a valid driver’s license, a safety mindset, and the ability to climb ladders and work around railcars. Experience is not required, and the team emphasizes reliability and willingness to learn.

Qualifications

  • Valid state-issued driver's license required.
  • Able to safely operate passenger vehicles.
  • Able to climb ladders up to 16 feet.
  • Able to repeatedly enter and exit vehicles.
  • Able to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, wind, and other changing weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Safely drive new vehicles off railcars.
  • Move vehicles to assigned staging and parking locations.
  • Follow designated driving routes and site traffic procedures.
  • Maintain safe speeds and proper spacing between vehicles.
  • Enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the workday.
  • Inspect vehicles for visible damage before and during movement.
  • Carefully maneuver a variety of new vehicles through the facility.
  • Climb railcar ladders and access elevated railcar levels when required.
  • Follow company, customer, and railroad safety procedures.
  • Maintain awareness of coworkers, vehicles, railcars, and equipment in the surrounding area.
  • Immediately report vehicle damage, unsafe conditions, or other concerns.
  • Wear all required PPE.
  • Assist the team with additional vehicle-handling duties as needed.

Drive New Vehicles and Stay Active

Road & Rail Services is hiring dependable Vehicle Unloaders to join our team in Twin Oaks, Pennsylvania.

If you enjoy driving, working outdoors, staying active throughout your shift, and being around new vehicles, this could be a great opportunity for you. As a Vehicle Unloader, you'll help safely unload newly manufactured vehicles from railcars and move them to designated staging and parking areas within the facility.

This is an active, hands-on position in a working railroad and automotive environment. You'll regularly enter and exit vehicles, walk throughout the facility, climb railcar ladders, and work outdoors in changing weather conditions.

Previous railroad experience is not required. We're looking for reliable individuals with a valid driver's license, a strong safety mindset, and the willingness to learn.

What You'll Do

Safely drive new vehicles off railcars

Move vehicles to assigned staging and parking locations

Follow designated driving routes and site traffic procedures

Maintain safe speeds and proper spacing between vehicles

Enter and exit vehicles repeatedly throughout the workday

Assist with moving vehicles from operational areas to designated parking locations

Inspect vehicles for visible damage before and during movement

Carefully maneuver a variety of new vehicles through the facility

Climb railcar ladders and access elevated railcar levels when required

Follow company, customer, and railroad safety procedures

Maintain awareness of coworkers, vehicles, railcars, and equipment in the surrounding area

Immediately report vehicle damage, unsafe conditions, or other concerns

Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Assist the team with additional vehicle-handling duties as needed

What We're Looking For

Successful candidates should be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in an active outdoor environment.

Candidates must have:

Valid state-issued driver's license

Ability to safely operate passenger vehicles

Ability to climb ladders up to approximately 16 feet

Ability to repeatedly enter and exit vehicles

Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and remain physically active throughout the shift

Ability to work outdoors in heat, cold, rain, wind, and other changing weather conditions

Strong attention to detail

Dependable attendance and punctuality

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

Safety-first attitude

Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Willingness to learn railroad and vehicle-handling procedures
