Job summary

Ourisman Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented Tag and Title Clerk to manage vehicle title and registration documents. The role supports sales and service departments by ensuring timely, accurate processing and compliant paperwork.

The candidate will work with the sales, finance, and state agencies, maintaining organized records and resolving discrepancies as needed to uphold audits and reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience in tag and title or similar administrative roles preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with vehicle title/registration processes and local regulations.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with customers and teams.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dealership software is a plus.
• Analytical skills to identify and resolve documentation issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and process vehicle title documents, including title transfers and registrations.
• Ensure documentation is completed accurately, including sales contracts and financing forms.
• Stay informed about state/local regulations for compliance.
• Assist customers with inquiries related to title/registration issues.
• Work with sales, finance, and state agencies to process titles/registrations timely.
• Maintain accurate records of all title and registration transactions.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in title/registration paperwork.
