Job summary

Beacon Credit Union in Lynchburg, VA is seeking a detail-oriented Title Clerk to support our vehicle titles, insurance, and lien processes. You will ensure accurate title transfers, maintain lien records, and coordinate with DMV offices to keep title status current.

Responsibilities include monitoring titles in VINTEK, requesting lost titles, and applying liens across VA and NC where applicable. A high school diploma and 6 months to 2 years of related experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have 6 months to 2 years of similar or related experience.
• Some DMV experience is a plus.
• Education/Certifications/Licenses - High school education or GED.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties related to the preparation and monitoring of vehicle titles, insurance and claims.
• Maintain vehicle tracking program and ensure titled vehicles have the credit union's lien recorded on the title at the DMV.
• Research DMV procedures in VA and NC and pursue liens via applicable agencies to protect lien interest.
