Job summary

Royalty Staffing is assisting an on-demand, autonomous rideshare company in Las Vegas, NV, to hire an engineering-focused Vehicle Technician to support fleet readiness. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and fleet reworks, ensuring safe on-road use and ready-for-demonstrations status.

Travel locally for setup and servicing, coordinate with the shop foreman, and maintain records and shop organization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a mechanic or vehicle technician.
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle maintenance, repair methods, tools, and parts.
• Valid driver's license and clean MVR in the last 3 years.
• Team player, reliable, and a self-starter with hands-on work ethic.
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Pass a background check, MVR, and drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods; forklift/gantry experience required.

Responsibilities

• Configure, set up, maintain, diagnose, and sign off on vehicles for safe on-road usage.

• Assist with parts inventory, tracking, and organization.
• Deliver an excellent service experience for internal teams and business partners.

Royalty Staffing is helping an on-demand, autonomous rideshare company hire an engineering-focused Vehicle Technicians to support the readiness of its fleet vehicles.

In this role, you will perform maintenance, repairs, and fleet reworks and contribute towards the operations of our workshop. This will include scheduled/preventative maintenance and services, diagnostics, repair coordination, and general upkeep of vehicles.

Available Shifts:

· 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Sun-Thurs

· 3:00 PM–11:30 PM Sun-Thurs

· 11:00 PM–7:30 AM Sun-Thurs

Location - Las Vegas, NV, United States

Work environment - In-person

Expected pay - 43.00 - 46.00 USD Per Hour

Schedule

Assignment length – Ongoing(W2) contract

RAs a Vehicle Technician, you'll:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a mechanic, vehicle tech or similar role
• Extensive knowledge of methods, techniques, parts, tools, and materials used in the maintenance and repair of vehicles
• Must have a valid driver's license and pass an MVR with accidents or tickets in the last 3 years.
• Team player, reliable, and a self-starter with roll-up-the-sleeves work ethos
• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deliverables
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Pass a background check, MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) check, and drug screen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and sit/stand for extended periods (8+ hours) depending on the equipment type. Forklift and/or gantry operation is required:

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in an automotive-focused engineering or research lab (i.e. Dyno, Battery, etc.) Knowledge of CAN, wiring diagrams and soldering preferred
• Experience and ability to tow a car hauler and other large trailers to transport fleet vehicles Technical trade school certificate or
• Associate Degree in automotive repair
• Current and valid forklift operator certification compliant with Cal/OSHA standards
